Flustered (LaxusxReader)

You couldn’t believe it, you, [Y/N] [L/N] were going on a mission with Laxus. You never could have imagined he would have willingly volunteered to go with you, but after you had both reached for the same S-Class mission flyer he had given you his usual flirty smirk and suggested to go together.

His flirting wasn’t uncommon with you, teasing you about whatever came to his mind. He got gotten used to his antics; after all he flirted with every girl right?

“We’re here,” Laxus stated, bringing you out of your thoughts.

“Oh,” you breathed out, moving to see passed him and to the inn. When you both got inside you were greeted by a young man.

“Ah you must be the Fairy Tail wizards, come to slay the monster that has been pillaging our fields,” he smiled softly and you nodded your head. “Great! Here’s your room key and you guys need to blend in so here are some village clothes,”

Within minutes you both had been ushered into a modest room and the door was closed promptly behind you both. It took you moment to realize something that should have been obvious from the start.

“Laxus you only booked one room?! And there’s only one bed?!” You turned to him, your face turning a fierce red.

“Yeah, this was the last room they had,” he smirked, noticing your blush.

“Can you at least go outside so I can get changed?” You questioned.

“Why so shy?” He smiled wolfishly, “here I’ll change first,” and before you could respond he ripped his shirt off and flexed his biceps while reaching to put his new shirt on.

By now you had turned around, letting him finish getting changed as you fiddled with your kimono.

“Done,” he whispered in your ear and you gasped, spinning around and bumping your back against the dresser.

He took a step back to give you more space. You glanced down at your kimono and realized something. "T-that's not fair! I-if I take my kimono off I'll be fully e-exposed!" You couldn't help but continue to stutter as you fiddled with the hem of your sash, one tug and you'd be in your underwear. How did it come to this? You went to step backwards and your sash caught on the edge of a dresser and your kimono fell softly to the ground exposing your chest and your underwear to Laxus. Your face went a dark shade of red.

"Don't look at me!" You yelped trying to cover yourself.

Laxus didn't really think you'd do it, but teasing you was half the fun. He was too busy chuckling at your stuttering to realize what was happening and stopped as your clothing suddenly unravelled and fell bunched around your feet. He paused, staring at you in shock for what must have been a mere moment before you turned red and shielded yourself from his view.

A blush immediately sprang to his face as well as he quickly averted his gaze and stared at the ceiling. Laxus cleared his throat, wondering why he was embarrassed at all. He was a man. This was something that shouldn't affect him in this way. Instead, he took the dress laid out for you from the bed and held it out to you.

"W-what are you doing? Put some clothes on, [Y/N]," he said. "Geez, if you want me that badly you don't have to resort to this. You just have to ask," he said that, but his face was still red and his eyes were closed as he crossed his arms over his chest after you took it.

You quickly slipped the villager’s dress on and turned to him, “all I have to do is ask?” you paused watching him try to recover from his flustered state, “I’ll keep that in mind,” you gave him a cheeky grin before leaving the room, letting him ponder your parting words.
