“G-gaara-kun,” You stuttered, tucking a strand of your [H/C] locks behind your ear while blushing slightly as you stuck your head through the door of his office, looking at the red-headed man.
“Yes, [Y/N]?” He asks raising a non-existent eyebrow.
“Ummm, I found this...” You informed softly while holding up a worn out, fraying teddy-bear.

“Where?” He commanded from behind his work desk.
“In the attic, when I was helping Temari clean up.” You stated, giggling softly before walking over and sitting on your boyfriend’s lap, giving him a peck on the cheek in the process.
“Does he have a name?” You asked innocently.
“Akio.” Gaara muttered, looking away embarrassed.
You hummed before speaking up “Akio’s single, right Gaara-kun?”
It was silent for a few minutes until he finally says “I… suppose?” He finally answered, unsure of what you were implying.
“Well I hope you don’t mind if I play match-maker then!” You exclaimed happily, pulling out your very own childhood teddy bear that you had kept hidden from the Kazekage.
“Akio, I would like you to meet Amaya, Amaya meet Akio.” You stated playfully before beaming at Gaara and placing Amaya next to Akio.
“Look, their perfect for each other!” You exclaimed, kissing Gaara gently on the lips before pulling away.
You gasped lightly before pulling out two identical red ribbons from your pocket. “Whoops almost forgot” You said, putting a ribbon on each of their necks.
“There! Aren't they even more adorable now!” You clapped your hands in delight before jumping up and kissing Gaara's forehead gently. "I have to get back to Temari, I'll see you later Gaara-kun." You yelled as you ran off, leaving a smiling Gaara staring after you.

At first I was like "teddie bear match maker--how old is this person? 😂" and then I realized...this is exactly the kind of thing I would do...and I am 22 😂😂😂
I am an adult. With my own apartment. And a spouse. And I still have stuffed animals. And buy new ones. And give them names.
Although I haven't named my new panda yet. I have one named Gaara that a friend gave me when I was 12, and another one named L that I got from my mom.... I've considered going with "Po" but I kinda want to stick with the anime theme. Perhaps I'll just go with "Panda" in honour of China from Hetalia....I can't think of any other characters with panda eyes 🙁
